Tom Schulte, 61, of Breese died
Monday, February 14, 2005 at Caring First Nursing Home in Breese
He was born November 1, 1943 in
Breese to the late Nelson Schulte and Charlene (Hockmann) Schulte;
his mother survives in Breese
He married Judy Zeisset on July 20,
1963 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Trenton; she preceded him in
death on October 18, 2003
Also preceded in death by his
father and mother-in-law Lawrence and Alice Zeisset, a
brother-in-law David “Tater” Ratermann, and a nephew Terry Strake
Surviving are daughters, Robin (Bob)
Fix and Denise (Randy) Pingsterhaus both of Breese
Also surviving are sons Jeff
(fiancé Eileen Carter) Schulte of Mulberry Grove, and Tom (Lisa)
Schulte of Breese
8 Grandchildren- Nicole and Heather
Fix, Mackenzie Schulte, Jennifer and Greg Pingsterhaus, Brett,
Brooke, and Brianne Schulte
Also surviving is a sister Karen
(Wayne) Ferguson of Troy
Tom retired from General Motors
after 30 years, he was a deputy Sheriff with the Clinton County
Sheriff Department for 37 years, spent 29 years with the Breese
Police Department until his retirement on May 1, 2004, and was the
Chief Security Officer at the Clinton County Courthouse until August
2004. Tom was also a co-founder and first active member of the City
of Breese Ambulance service.
He was a member of St. John United
Church of Christ in Breese, Clinton County Law Enforcement, IL-MO
Road Riders, and the United Auto Workers
Funeral Service will be held
Friday, February 18, 2005 at 11 AM at Moss Funeral Home in Breese
with Mike Garrison and Rev. W. Dale Starr officiating. Interment
will follow at St. John Cemetery, Breese.
Visitation will be Thursday,
February 17, 2005 from 4-9 PM and again on Friday, February 18, 2005
from 8-11 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese.
Memorials can be made to the donor’s
choice and will be received at the funeral home
