Phyllis J. Schultz, 61, of Trenton died Saturday
August 2, 2003 at her home near Trenton.
She was born March 2, 1942 in Summerfield to Kathryn (Grolle)
Ruth-Peters and Melvin Ruth, they preceded her in death.
She married Ron Schultz November 14, 1964 at St. Paul Church
Highland and he survives near Trenton.
She worked in the accounting department at Jim’s Formal Wear in
Trenton and was a member of St. Mary Church Trenton.
Besides her husband, she is survived by 4 daughters, April
(Brian) Smith of Columbia, IL, Ruth (Bob) Rieger and Lori (Derek)
Brandmeyer all of Trenton and Dori (Tom) Kuhn of New Baden. Also
surviving are sisters Betty (Richard) Erwin and Ann Marie (Herb)
Schmitt all of Trenton, 2 brothers Jim (Betty) Ruth of Breese and
Bob (Judy) Ruth of Spring Hill, Florida, 9 grandchildren Holly,
Julie, Natalie and Samantha Smith, Will and Wade Rieger, Nadine Kuhn
and Shelby and Emma Brandmeyer.
She was preceded in death by step father Harold Peters, brothers
Richard Allen Ruth and Timothy Peters.
Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Tuesday, August 5, 2003 at
St. Mary Church Trenton with Father James Dougherty officiating.
Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Friends may call at the Moss
Funeral Home in Trenton, Monday from 4 to 9 Pm and Tuesday from 8 to
9:45 AM.
Memorial can be made to Family Hospice of Belleville or to donor’s
choice and will be received at the funeral home.
