Samuel R. Schumacher, 18, of St.
Rose died Sunday November 2, 2008 near St. Rose.
He was born July 18, 1990 in Breese
to Robert and Kathleen (Koopmann) Schumacher and they survive in St.
Rose.
He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying
fishing, deer hunting and soccer. He was a student at Kaskaskia
College and a cook at Popeye’s Chophouse in St. Rose. He was a 2008
graduate of Central high School where was captain of the soccer
team.
Besides his parents he is survived
by a sister Lauren Schumacher and a brother Grant Schumacher both of
St. Rose.
Also surviving are maternal
grandparents Ralph and Bernadine (Santel) Koopmann of Damiansville
and paternal grandmother Lidwina (Fischer) Schumacher of St. Rose,
numerous aunts’ uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his
grandfather Clarence Schumacher.
Mass of Christian burial will be
celebrated Wednesday November 5 at 2 PM at St. Rose Catholic Church
with Father Edward Schaefer officiating. Interment will follow in
St. Rose Cemetery.
Friend may call at the Moss Funeral
Home in Breese Tuesday from 4 to 9 Pm and Wednesday from 11 am until
1:30 PM.
