Mary Ann Strake, nee Diesen, 82, of Breese, died Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at Caring First Nursing Home in Breese. 

Mrs. Strake was born January 17, 1924 in Germantown to Bernard and Mary (Haake) Diesen; they preceded her in death. 

She married Thomas Strake on September 3, 1949 in Germantown; he preceded her in death on February 18, 2000. 

Also preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Ann Strake, a brother Arnold Diesen, sisters-in-law,  Adelle Diesen, Henrietta Gorchock, Leona Mondt, Florence Pschorr, and Virginia Strake, brothers-in-law, John Gorchock, Aloysius Mondt, Kenneth Pschorr, Raymond Strake, Fred Stuever, and Ernest Ades. 

Surviving are four children, Dean Strake, Anita (Keith Klostermann) Strake, Francis Strake, and Bradley Strake all of Breese. 

One granddaughter, Kelsey Strake of Breese. 

A sister, Marcella Ades of Breese. 

A sister-in-law, Marcella Stuever and brother-in-law, Victor (Lorraine) Strake all of Breese. 

Mrs. Strake was a homemaker. 

She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Breese. 

Funeral Services will be Saturday, January 21, 2006 at 10:30 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese with Deacon Bob Lippert officiating.  Interment in St. Dominic/ St. Augustine Cemetery, Breese. 

Visitation will be Saturday, January 21, 2006 from 8:30 to 10:30 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese. 

Memorials can be made to the family and will be received at the funeral home.
