Marie L. Taft 74 of Trenton died Monday November 8, 2004 at Countryside Manor in Aviston 

She was born June 8, 1930 in Belgium to Joseph and Alice Van Drom: They preceded her in death 

She married Howard Taft in 1958 in Belgium; he preceded her in death July 7, 1979

 Also preceded in death by a son Jack Taft

 Surviving is a son Claude Taft of Trenton 

A daughter Diane (Butch) Diekemper of Olathe KS 

5 grandchildren Dawn Marie Taft, Jack “JT” Taft Jr., Dustin Dole, Alex and Nicole Diekemper

 Sisters Suzanne Van Drom of Holland, Blanche Van Drom and Julia Van Drom both of Belgium

 Marie was a homemaker and caregiver

 Member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Trenton

 Funeral service will be held on Thursday Nov. 11, 2004 at 10 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton with Fr. James Dougherty officiating. Interment Trenton Cemetery

 Visitation will be held on Wednesday Nov. 10, from 5 to 8 PM and Thursday Nov. 11 from 8 to time of services at the Moss funeral home, Trenton

 Memorials can be made to the donor’s choice and will be received at the Moss funeral home
