She was born July 1, 1902 in Pittsburg Kansas to Walter and Mae (Largent)
Henson and the step daughter of Ellen (Cryder) Henson: they all
preceded her in death
She married Clarence Orschell February 6, 1924 at St. Mary’s in
Trenton and he preceded her in death January 21, 1953
She then married Otto Thaler October 6, 1962 at St. Peter
Cathedral in Belleville and he preceded her in July 15, 1983
Also preceded in death by a daughter Lois Jean Gruenenfelder,
brother Frank Henson, daughter-in-law Helen Orschell, grandson
Michael Gruenenfelder, granddaughter Lisa Burgess, great grandsons
Kyle Johnson and Bobby Haegele
Surviving is a son Clarence "Civ" (Jan) Orschell of
Trenton
Daughters Virginia (George) Johnson of Belleville, Wilma
(Anthony) Kerkemeyer of Belleville
Son in law Donald Gruenenfelder of Highland
15 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 9 great great
grandchildren
Floy was a homemaker
Member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Trenton
Funeral Mass Monday October 27, 2003 at 10:30 am at St. Mary
Catholic Church in Trenton with Fr. Vincent Haselhorst officiating
Interment in St. Mary Cemetery, Trenton
Visitation will be held on Sunday October 26 from 4 to 8 PM and
on Monday October 27 from 8 to 10:15 am at the Moss Funeral Home in
Trenton
Memorials can be made to the donor’s choice and will be
received at the funeral home
