Laura E. Thomas, 94, of Breese died Friday February 22, 2008 at St. Joseph hospital in Breese 

She was born June 28, 1913 in Columbia, IL to Herman and Christina (Klohr) Osterhage: they preceded her in death 

She married Alvin Thomas August 17, 1940 at St. Philips Church in Edgemont, IL; he preceded her in death April 5, 1995 

Also preceded in death by a son Alan Thomas, a brother Raymond Osterhage, a great grandson Arthur Alan Mucciante 

Surviving is a son David (Jan) Thomas of Aviston 

Daughter in law Rosalie Thomas of Centralia 

4 grandchildren, Diane (Art) Mucciante of Presque Isle, MI, Lynn (Mark) Featherling of Centralia, Rodney (Corina) Thomas of Bartlett, Scott (Kathy) Thomas of Aviston 

10 great grandchildren Rosalie, Brianna, Bruno Mucciante, Megan, Jacob Featherling, Jessica, Gavin, Caleb, Collin and Griffin Thomas 

A twin sister Myrtle Jung of Millstadt 

Laura was a homemaker and co-owner of Western Auto Supply in Breese 

Member of St. John United Church of Christ in Breese and the Women’s Fellowship 

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday February 27, 2007 at 11:00 am at St. John United Church of Christ in Breese with Rev. Lisa Hart officiating. Interment St. John cemetery, Breese 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday February 26 from 5 to 8 PM and on Wednesday February 27 from 9 to 10:45 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese 

Memorials can be made to St. John United Church of Christ and will be received through the funeral home
