Matthew G. "Hammer" Timmermann, 61, of St.
Rose died Saturday August 2 2003 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese.
He was born August 12, 1941 in Breese Township to August and Anna
(Diekmann) Timmermann, they preceded him in death.
He was a concrete truck driver for Quad County Ready-Mix, a
member of St. Rose Church, Men Sodality and Development Club. He was
also a member of the Teamsters Local 50 of Belleville.
He is survived by 3 brothers and 1 sister, Nicholas (Margaret)
Timmermann of St. Rose, his twin brother Marcel "Lefty"
(Doris) Timmermann and Albert (Clara May) Timmermann all of Breese,
a sister Mary (Vernon) Kombrink of O’Fallon, sisters in law
Floriann Timmermann and Anna Lou Timmermann both of St. Rose . He
also has numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by brothers William, John, August, James
"Doc", and Stanley Timmermann.
Funeral services will be held Monday August 4, 2003 at 11 am at
St. Rose Church with Father Edward Schaefer officiating, with
interment in St. Rose Cemetery. Friend may call at the Moss Funeral
Home in Breese Sunday august 3, form 4 to 9 Pm and Monday August 4
from 8 to 10:30 Am.
Memorials can be made to St. Rose Church or donor’s choice and
will be received at the funeral home.
