He married Diane Hoerchler on June 9, 1972 at St. Cecilia
Catholic Church in Bartelso; she survives in Bartelso
Also surviving are two sons Craig Toennies of Bartelso and Curt
Toennies of Bartelso
A daughter Cindy Toennies of Bartelso

He was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Bartelso,
Boilermakers Union S007, Bartelso Knights of Columbus Council 4745,
and the Clinton County Farm Bureau
Funeral Mass will be Friday, February 21, 2003 at 2 PM at St.
Cecilia Catholic Church in Bartelso with Fr. Henry Fischer
officiating. Interment in St. Cecilia Cemetery, Bartelso
Visitation will be Thursday, February 20, 2003 from 4 to 9 PM and
again on Friday, February 21 from 10 Am to 1:30 PM at the Moss
Funeral Home in Breese
Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society or to BJC
Hospice and will be received at the funeral home
