Tuesday February 3, 2004 at St. Joseph hospital in Breese
He was born October 25, 1927 in Wade Twp., IL to John H. and Rose
(Wilken) Vahlkamp: they preceded him death
Also preceded in death by a sister Collette Vahlkamp
He married Jane Richter October 25, 1950 at St. Augustine Church
in Breese and she survives in Breese
Also surviving is a son Alan (Janet) Vahlkamp of Centralia

Nashville, Rose (Gerard) Huelskamp of Breese
15 grandchildren Leagha, Alie, Abie Vahlkamp, Erika, Erin

Colton, Dawson, Adison Huelskamp

Jack was retired Dairy and Grain Farmer. A Korean War Veteran
serving from 1951 to 1953 as an Army Field Radio Repairman
Member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and Men’s Sodality in
Breese, Past 30 year trustee of St. Mary Catholic Church in Carlyle,
50 year member of Carlyle Knights of Columbus council #1382, 50 year
member of Breese American Legion Post 252, Catholic War Veterans,
Past secretary of the Clinton County Zoning Board, Past vice
president on the board of Clinton County Farm Bureau, Past president
of MidAm Milk producers of 25 years, Holstein Fresian Association
Funeral Mass Friday February 6, 2004 at 11:00 am at St. Augustine
Catholic Church in Breese with Fr. Chuck Tuttle officiating.
Interment St. Dominic-St. Augustine Cemetery
Visitation will be held on Thursday Feb. 5 from 4 to 9 PM and on
Friday Feb, 6 from 8 to 10:45 am at the Moss Funeral home in Breese
Breese American Legion will hold services at 7:30 Pm Thursday at
the Funeral home
Carlyle Knights of Columbus will pray the rosary Thursday At 7:00
Pm at St. Mary Church in Carlyle
Memorials can be made to St. Augustine Church, All Saints
Academy; St. Jude Children’s Hospital Cancer Research and will be
received through the funeral home
