Marie R. Vaninger, nee Rohling, 89, of Trenton, died Sunday, February 4, 2007 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese. 

Mrs. Vaninger was born December 22, 1917 in Madison County, IL to Frank and Ella (Bellm) Rohling; they preceded her in death. 

She married Paul Vaninger on November 14, 1946 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Trenton; he preceded her in death on March 17, 1982.

Also preceded in death by brothers, Noe Rohling and Paul Rohling. 

Surviving are daughters, Lydia (Larry) Obin of Dupo and Grace (Dr. Melvin) Laski of Lubbock, TX and a son Lloyd (Carol) Vaninger of Trenton. 

Grandchildren-Larry Obin II, Laura Obin, Martha Laski, Mary Laski, Annie Laski, and Katy Vaninger. 

Sisters-in-law, Betty Rohling and Margie Rohling, both of Trenton and Anne Vaninger of Springfield. 

Marie was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and Altar Sodality in Trenton and Daughters of Isabella Precious Blood Circle 718. 

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church in Trenton with Msgr. Donald Eichenseer officiating.  Interment will follow in Trenton Cemetery. 

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 6, 2007 from 4:00-9:00 PM and again on Wednesday, February 7, 2007 from 8:00-10:15 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton. 

Daughters of Isabella will pray the rosary at 7:00 PM Wednesday evening at the funeral home. 

Memorials can be made to the Trenton Nutrition Center or the Trenton Cemetery and will be received at the funeral home.
