Marie R. Venhaus, nee Trame, 78, of Trenton, died
Monday, December 29, 2003 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese
She was born March 24, 1925 in Lebanon to Theodore and Agnes Mary
(Spihlman) Trame; they preceded her in death
Also preceded in death by brothers August, Henry, Edwin,
Lawrence, Arnold, and Eugene Trame
She married Elmer Venhaus on August 20, 1947 at St. Mary Catholic
Church in Trenton; he survives in Trenton
Also surviving are sons David (Janet) Venhaus and Dennis Venhaus
both of Trenton
Also surviving are daughters Mary (Larry) Blaney and Sharon
(Brad) Ritzheimer both of Trenton
Also surviving are 5 Grandchildren-Lisa (Mark) Wessel, Lynn
(Chad) Gall, Ryan Venhaus, Adam Venhaus, and Travis Venhaus all of
Trenton and 2 Great-Grandchildren-Ellie and Carson Wessel
Also surviving are brothers Theodore Trame of Lebanon and Joseph
(Dorothy) Trame of Mattoon
Also surviving is a sister-in-law Esther Trame of Trenton
Marie retired from the cleaning department at Jim’s Formal Wear
in Trenton
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and Altar Sodality,
Trenton VFW Post 7983 Auxiliary, and Trenton Senior Citizens
Funeral Mass of Resurrection will be Friday, January 2, 2004 at
10 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church in Trenton with Fr. James
Dougherty officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in
Trenton.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 1, 2004 from 4 to 9 PM and
again on Friday, January 2, 2004 from 8 to 9:45 AM at the Moss
Funeral Home in Trenton.
Trenton VFW Auxiliary will hold services at 7:30 Thursday Night
at the Funeral Home
Memorials can be made to Sugar Creek Ambulance Service, Trenton
Volunteer Fire Department, or to donor’s choice and will be
received at the funeral home
