Jacqueline J. “Jackie” Vice, nee Schneider, 78, of Trenton, died Friday, July 25, 2008 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese.   

Mrs. Vice was born July 12, 1930 in Granite City, IL to Roy and Ruth (Abrams) Schneider; they preceded her in death. 

She married David Vice on February 12, 1955 in Troy, IL; he preceded her in death on September 22, 1989. 

Surviving are her children, Sue (Larry) Ulrich of Troy, Roy (Terri) Vice of Memphis, TN, and Tom (Mary) Vice of Highland. 

7 Grandchildren-Ben, Greg, Melissa, Brittany, Nathan, Heather, and Eric Vice. 

A brother, William (Gloria) Schneider of Pocahontas and a sister, Carol (Rowe) Huggins of Hot Springs, Arkansas. 

Jackie was a homemaker and she enjoyed playing cards, reading, traveling, and most of all her grandchildren. 

She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Trenton, Trenton American Legion Auxiliary, Trenton VFW Auxiliary, and Eastern Star-Trenton. 

Funeral Service will be Monday, July 28, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton with Rev. Debbie Melzer officiating.  Interment will follow in Valley View Gardens in Edwardsville. 

Visitation will be Sunday, July 27, 2008 from 4:00-8:00 PM and again on Monday, July 28, 2008 from 9:00-11:00 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton. 

Trenton VFW Auxiliary will hold services at 7:00 PM Sunday evening at the funeral home. 

Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association and will be received at the funeral home.
