Amy P. Warnecke, nee McLean, 88, of
Trenton, died Saturday, October 11, 2008 at her residence.
Mrs. Warnecke was born June 2, 1920
in Reno, IL to Charles and Dorcas (Foulon) McLean; they preceded her
in death.
Also preceded in death by a daughter,
Kathelene Wise, a grandson. Timothy Seibert, a sister, Camilla
Willmann, brothers, Forrest “Buck” McLean, Robert J. “Bob” McLean, a
sister-in-law, Shirley McLean, and a brother-in-law, Jerry
Melville.
She married Alvin Warnecke on March
17, 1956 at St. John United Church of Christ in Breese; he survives
in Trenton.
Also surviving are her children,
Carole (Don) Donnelly of Cedar Hill, MO, Jerry Robert (Judy) Wise of
Highland, Theresa Lynn “Terry” (Willie) Seibert of Trenton, Becky L.
Springer of New Baden, and Linette Warnecke of Troy.
9 Grandchildren-Sherry (Jeff) Diggs,
David (Sondra) Donnelly, Tammy (Daryl) Riechmann, Lori (Jason)
Zurliene, Nichole Loomis, Tracy (James) Gibson, Kimberly Myers,
Tommy Myers, and Caralee Springer and 19 great-grandchildren
Brothers, Charles “Chuck” (Mary Jane)
McLean of Morgantown, KY and Captain William “Oral” McKlean, Ret.
U.S. Navy, PhD. of South Bend, IN and a sister, Sarah Melville of
Menifee, CA.
Amy was a homemaker and a member of
St. John United Church of Christ in Trenton, Breese American Legion
Auxiliary, and Trenton Tumbleweeds.
Funeral Service will be
Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Moss Funeral
Home in Trenton with Rev. Debbie Melzer officiating. Interment will
follow in Trenton Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday, October
13, 2008 from 4:00-8:00 PM and again on Tuesday, October 14, 2008
from 9:00-11:00 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton.
In lieu of flowers , memorials can be made to Hospice of
Southern Illinois, Shriners Hospital, the Trenton Nutrition
Center or the Trenton Tumbleweed Club and will be received at the funeral home.
