Theresa K. “Toots” Wesselmann 60 of Breese died Friday March 17, 2006 at St. Joseph hospital in Breese 

She was born January 13, 1946 in Breese to William F. And Vera (Santel) Athmer Sr.: they preceded her in death 

Also preceded in death by her sons Jerome Wesselmann Jr. and Steven Wesselmann, her father and mother in law Henry and Catherine Wesselmann 

She married Jerome “Jerry “ Wesselmann May 7, 1966 at St. Damian Church in Damiansville; he survives in Breese 

Also surviving are sons Allen (Kelley) Wesselmann of Carlyle, Brian (Jennifer) Wesselmann of Pocahontas 

4 grandchildren Emily, Zachary, Brandon and Madeline Wesselmann 

Brothers Bill (Rosie) Athmer of Damiansville, Maurice Athmer of Damiansville, David (Marilyn) Athmer of Carlyle, Dan (Diane) Athmer of Damiansville 

She was a dear sister-in-law to the Wesselmann Family 

Dear Aunt and special friend to many esp. Special friends Jeff, Lois, Shannon and Nathan Gilbreth 

Toots was a nurse case manager for VNA TIP of Southern Illinois, and past Director of Nurses of VNA, past Director of Nurses at the Breese Caring First Nursing Home, and past supervisor at St. Joseph hospital in Breese 

Member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Beckemeyer, Church Choir and Choral Group, St. Ann Sodality and current treasurer, Team Captain of “Toots Cancer Kickers” for Clinton County Relay for Life 

Funeral Mass Monday March 20, 2006 at 10 am at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Beckemeyer with Fr. Chuck Tuttle officiating Interment St. Dominic-St. Augustine Cemetery, Breese 

Visitation will be held on Sunday March 19 from 4 to 9 Pm and Monday March 20 from 8 to 9:30 am at the Moss Funeral home in Breese 

Memorials can be made to VNA-TIP Hospice of Southern Illinois, St. Jude’ Children’s Hospital or Clinton County Relay for Life and will be received at the funeral home
