Albert J. Willi, 92, of Breese died Tuesday August 3, 2004 at Caring First Nursing Home in Breese

 He was born May 11, 1912 in Breese to August and Bertha (Zimmermann) Willi: they preceded him in death

 Also preceded in death by a son Alvin Willi, brothers John Willi and Carl “Kayo” Willi

 He married Tillie Warnecke August 15, 1942 in Chicago, IL and she survives in Breese

 Also surviving is a son Carl (Cristine) Willi of Newport Rhode Island

 A daughter Linda (David) Hilmes of Lockport, IL

 A daughter in law Terri Willi of O’Fallon

 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren

 Albert was a retired lineman and maintenance from the City of Breese and an Army veteran of WWII

 Member of St. John United Church of Christ in Breese, Breese American Legion Post 252, Masonic Lodge AF&AM of Trenton

 Funeral services will be held on Friday August 6, 2004 at 11:00 AM at St. John United Church of Christ in Breese with Pastor W. Dale Starr officiating. Interment St. John Cemetery

 Visitation will be held on Thursday August 5, 2004 from 4 to 9 PM and Friday August 6 from 8 to 10:45 am at Moss funeral home

 Memorials can be made to the Leukemia Society, St. John United Church of Christ or St. John Cemetery and will be received at the funeral home.
