Bernice B. Winter 79 of Breese died Saturday October 29, 2005 at her residence 

She was born October 21, 1926 in Breese to Jacob and Clara (Venhaus) Kohrs: they preceded her in death 

She married Arnold Winter May 18, 1949 at St. Augustine Church and he preceded her in death May 7, 1999 

Also preceded in death by a step mother Hazel Kohrs, and brothers, Wilbert, Elmer, Ralph, and Jerome Kohrs 

Surviving are sons Hal (Peggy) Winter of Pocahontas, Glennon (Kathy) Winter of Breese, Karl (Lori) Winter of Centralia 

Daughters Barbara (Mike) Wilton of Carlyle, Brenda (Carl) Woodrome of Centralia 

12 grandchildren and 2 great granddaughters 

A brother Arthur (Marie) Kohrs of Afton, MO 

Sisters Dolores Lamping of St. Louis, MO, Martha (Don) Cornell of Fairview Heights,  Millie Johnson of Breese, Marlene Robben of Germantown, Roselyn (John) Crawford of St. Louis, MO 

Sisters-in-law Alice Kohrs of Independence MO, Jeanette Kohrs of Breese 

Bernice was a homemaker 

Member of St. Dominic Catholic Church and Altar Sodality in Breese, American Legion Post 252 Auxiliary, in Breese  

Funeral mass Wednesday November 2, 2005 at 10 am at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese with

Fr. Patrick Peter officiating Interment St Dominic – St. Augustine Cemetery, Breese 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday Nov. 1, 2005 from 4 to 9 PM and on Wednesday Nov. 2 from 8 to 9:45 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese 

Breese American Legion Auxiliary will hold services on Tuesday at 7:00 PM at the funeral home 

Memorials can be made to Mater Dei High School and will be receive at eh funeral home
