Wavian Mae Wintermann, nee Cochran,
83, of Alexandria, IN, and formerly of Little Prairie, died Sunday,
February 24, 2008 at Community Hospital in Anderson, IN.
She was born October 5, 1924 in
Ellwood, IN to Virgil E. and Dorothy
(Moore) Cochran; they preceded her in death.
She married Henry Wintermann on
January 24, 1947; he preceded her in death on October 6, 1998.
Also preceded in death by a son,
Thomas Wintermann, and brothers, Michael, Virgil, Charles, and
Richard Cochran.
Surviving is her children, Carolyn
(Kenny) Porter of Little Prairie, Dorothy (Allen) Maddox of
Alexandria, IN, Steven (Beverly) Wintermann of Carlyle,
and Michael Wintermann of Breese.

Great-Grandchildren
A brother, Phillip (Mary) Cochran of
Texas, and sisters, Mary Basset of Alexandria, IN and Janet Adair of Fort
Worth, TX.
A daughter-in-law, Debbie Wintermann
of Breese.
Wavian was a homemaker and a former
Girl Scout Leader.
She was a member of St. John United
Church of Christ in Breese.
Funeral Service will be Thursday,
February 28, 2008 at 11:00 AM at St. John United Church of Christ in
Breese with Rev. Lisa Hart officiating. Interment will follow in
St. John Cemetery, Breese.
Visitation will be Wednesday,
February 27, 2008 from 4:00-9:00 PM and again on Thursday, February
28, 2008 from 9:00-10:45 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese.
Memorials can be made to the American
Diabetes Association or to St. John Church and will be received at
the funeral home. |
