Aloysius H. “Ollie” Albers, 77, of
Germantown, died Thursday August 20, 2009 at Country Side Manor in
Aviston.
He was born December 15, 1931 in
Germantown to John B. and Mary (Wobbe) Albers; they preceded him in
death.
Also preceded in death by a brothers
Gregory “Doo” Albers, Virgil “Virie” Albers, sisters-in-law Bernice
Albers and Helen Albers.
Surviving is a brother Edwin (Jenny)
Albers of Beckemeyer.
Sisters Rosie (Joe) Kohrmann, and
Marie (Bill) Winter all of Germantown.
Numerous nieces and nephews.
Ollie worked at Timken Rail Bearing
in Carlyle for over 20 years and Krey Packing Co. in Belleville. He
was an avid bowler, enjoyed cards and spending time with his family
and especially enjoyed his companion dog Tipper.

Church in Germantown, American Legion Post 325 in Germantown
Funeral Mass of Christian burial
will be held on Monday August 24, 2009 at 11:00 am
at St. Boniface Catholic Church in
Germantown with Fr. James Buerster
and Deacon Rich Bagby officiating. Interment St. Boniface Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Sunday
August 23 from 4 to 8 PM and Monday August 24 from 9 to 10:45 am
at Moss Funeral Home in
Germantown.
Memorials can be made to Germantown
Public Library or Donor’s Choice and will be received at the funeral
home.
Germantown American Legion will hold
services on Sunday at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. |
