Marcella A. “Sally” Becker, nee Beckmann, 84, of Bartelso died Monday, November 16, 2009 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese. 

She was born July 19, 1925 in Germantown to Alphonse and Christine (Wobbe) Beckmann; they preceded her in death. 

Also preceded in death by a son, Steven Becker, 4 infant brothers, and brothers-in-law, Lawrence Becker and Bobby Becker. 

She married Paul Becker on June 24, 1947 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown; he survives in Bartelso. 

Also surviving is a daughter, Charlene Huegen of Bartelso; 2 Grandchildren, Jonathan (Beth Harpstrite)Huegen of Albers and Chad Huegen of Bartelso; 5 Great-Grandchildren, Tanner, Cole, Trevor, Brady, and Zackary Huegen; a sister, Bernice (Larry) Gebke of Breese; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Frank (Theresa Marie) Becker of Florissant, MO, Agnes (Joe) Kampwerth of Carlyle, Rose (Hank) Wilken of Carlyle, Loretta “Shorty” (Bill) Mueller of Belleville, Gertrude Becker of Breese, and Blanche Becker of Bartelso.  

Sally was a homemaker and a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church and Ladies Sodality, Bartelso American Legion Post 976 Auxiliary, and the Catholic Holy Family Society. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and playing cards and quilting. 

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, November 19, 2009 at 2:00 PM at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Bartelso with Fr. Henry Fischer officiating.  Interment will follow in St. Cecilia Cemetery, Bartelso. 

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 18, 2009 from 4:00-8:00 PM and again on Thursday, November 19, 2009 from 11:00 AM-1:30 PM at the Moss Funeral Home in Germantown. 

Memorials can be made to St. Cecilia Church, Mater Dei High School, or Catholic Charities and will be received at the funeral home.
