James B. “Jim” Hammer, 63, of Trenton died Thursday January 7, 2010 at his residence. 

He was born November 1, 1946 in Highland to Alfred and Mary (Kniepmann) Hammer; they preceded him in death. 

He is survived by brothers and sisters; Theresa (Tom) Padfield of Trenton, Alfred (Ann) Hammer of Trenton, Carol (Ron) Kapp of Trenton, Tom (Sandy) Hammer of Highland, JoAnn (Mike) Muston of Flint, MI, David (Carol) Hammer of Trenton, Sharon (Steve) Kaufman of Trenton. 

Numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. 

Jim was retired from farming. 

Member of Trenton Sportsman’s Club, Trenton Nut House Club, Ducks Unlimited, National Wild Turkey Federation. 

Memorial Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton from 5 PM to 8 PM. 

Memorials in Jim’s memory can be made to the Sportsman’s Club or Nut House Club and will be received at the Moss Funeral Home.
