Florence K. Kressig, nee Eschmann, 94, of Breese, died Saturday, August 29, 2009 at her residence. She lived a long happy life and passed on of a broken heart after losing her husband Joe of 60 years 2 months earlier 

She was born September 14, 1914 in Breese to Henry and Anna (Meirink) Eschmann: they preceded her in death  

She Married Joseph Kressig May 28, 1949 at St. Augustine Church in Breese and he preceded her in death June 13, 2009 

Also preceded in death by brother, Victor Eschmann, sisters, Martha Holtgrave, Clara Pollmann, Nova Hodapp and Eleanor Eschmann 

Surviving are sons David (Carol) Kressig of Breese, Stephen (Eileen Wright) Kressig of Kauai Hawaii 

Daughter Mary Ann (Les Brandt) Kressig of Huntsville AR 

2 grandchildren Sarah (Keith) Harvie of St. Louis, Jake Kressig of Breese  

3 great grandchildren Miles, Kaden, Savannah Harvie 

Florence was a homemaker and retired nurses aid from St. Joseph Hospital in Breese 

Member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and Ladies Sodality, Breese Senior Citizens 

Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be Thursday September 3, 2009 at 11:00 am at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Breese with Fr. Joseph Rascher and Deacon Bob Lippert officiating. Interment St. Dominic-St. Augustine Cemetery 

Visitation will be Wednesday September 2 from 4 to 8 PM, Thursday September 3 from 9 to 10:45 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese 

Memorials can be made to St. Augustine Church, Hospice of Southern Illinois, and Chakota Therapeutic Center and will be received at the funeral home
