Anna M. Spihlmann 90 of Germantown died Saturday January 23, 2010 at Country Side Manor in Aviston 

She was born July 10, 1919 in Aviston to Frank and Agnes (Stoff) Luitjohan; they preceded her in death 

She married Raymond Spihlmann April 9, 1945 at St Francis Church in Aviston and He preceded her in death February 24, 1998 

Also preceded in death by a grandson Nathan Thomas Markus, twin sister Agnes Goebel, brothers, Al, Francis, John and Joe Luitjohan, brothers-in-law Lawrence Goebel, Maynard Zobrist, Lloyd Warnecke, Ralph Brandmeyer, sister-in-law Darlene Luitjohan 

Surviving are her children Mary Ellen (Joseph) Gautreaux of Opelousas, LA, Maurice (Jonella) Spihlmann of Germantown, David (Marilyn) Spihlmann of Albers, Carol (Mark) Markus of Aviston, Raymond (Kathy) Spihlmann of Bloomfield, IA, Nancy (Dennis “Surge”) Winkeler of Bartelso, Paul (Ruth) Spihlmann of Germantown 

20 grandchildren and 3 step grandchildren 14 great grandchildren 

A brother Paul (Mary Ann) Luitjohan of Highland 

Sisters Clara (Gaulberd) Emig of Trenton, Marie (Vince) Horstmann) of Highland, Delores Zobrist of Highland, Rita Warnecke of Highland, Millie (Allen) Frey of Pierron, Pat Brandmeyer of Albers, Jane (Cyril “Pete”) Korte of Highland

Anna was a homemaker 

Member of  St. Boniface Catholic Church , Altar Sodality and Eucharistic minister, Albers American Legion Aux., Daughters of Isabella Precious Blood Circle 718, St. Joseph Hospital Breese Aux. 

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday January 26, 2010 at 11:00 am at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown with Fr. James Buerster and Deacon Rich Bagby officiating. Interment St. Boniface Cemetery 

Visitation will be Monday January 25 from 4 to 9 PM and Tuesday January 26 from 8:30 am to 10:30 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Germantown 

Memorials can be made to the St. Vincent DePaul society or donor’s choice and will be received at the funeral home 

Daughters of Isabella will pray the rosary at 7:00 PM Monday at he funeral home
