Mike Toennies, 41 of Trenton, died
Sunday, May 9, 2010 at Grange Nursing Home in Mascoutah.
Mr. Toennies was born August 17,
1968 in Belleville to Adrian and Alice (Holtmann) Toennies; his
mother preceded him in death and his father Adrian and step-mother
Trudy Toennies survive in Trenton.
He is also survived by a daughter,
Rylee Toennies of Trenton; brothers and sisters, Duane (Shirley)
Toennies of Germantown, Joyce Emig of Trenton, Jan (Todd) Isaak of
Trenton, Connie (Joe) Brinker of Kansas City, MO, Tracy (Mike) Emig
of Trenton, and Terry (Melissa) Toennies of Belleville; and 14
Nieces and Nephews.
In addition to his mother, he was
also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, George and Mary
(Huene) Holtmann and his paternal grandparents, Tony and Clara (Olliges)
Toennies.
Mike owned and operated B&M Portable
Welding in Albers and his true hobby was working.
Funeral Mass of Christian Burial
will be Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at 10:00 am
at St. Mary Catholic Church in
Trenton with Fr. Eugene Kreher
officiating. Interment will follow in Trenton Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday, May 10,
2010 from 4:00-9:00 pm and again on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 from
8:00-9:30 am at the Moss
Funeral Home in Trenton.
Memorials can be made to his
daughter Rylee’s education fund and will be received at the funeral
home. |
