Maxine J. Troxell, nee Burress, 87 of Trenton, died Tuesday February 16, 2010 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese. 

Mrs. Troxell was born September 22, 1922 in Washington, IN to Ralph and Carrie (Brackens) Burress; they preceded her in death. 

She first married Emil Gausepohl and he preceded her in death in 1957, she then married Elmer Troxell and he also preceded her in death. 

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Rosemary Kempfer; a twin brother, Max Burress; and a sister, Eldena Greunder. 

Surviving are her children, Bev (Gary) Wehrle of Shorewood, IL, Ralph Gausepohl of Channahon, IL, and Mike (Mary) Gausepohl of Sorento, IL; 8 Grandchildren, Cary Wehrle, Tammy Hanchett, Todd Gausepohl, Tina Cocke, Tony Brock, Nick Brock, Randy Gift, and Heather Gift; and 15 Great-Grandchildren. 

Maxine was a homemaker and a member of the New Life Christian Center in Trenton and the Trenton American Legion Auxiliary. 

Funeral Services will be Friday, February 19, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Moss Funeral Home in Trenton with Rev. Robert Wutzler officiating.  Interment will follow in Trenton Cemetery. 

Visitation will be Thursday, February 18, 2010 from 4:00-8:00 pm and again on Friday, February 19, 2010 from 8:00-10:00 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton.

Memorials can be made to the donor’s choice and will be received at the funeral home.
