Maurice J. Wintermann 78 of Little
Prairie died Saturday November 14, 2009 at his residence
He was born February 21, 1931 in
Little Prairie to George and Wilhelmina (Gockel) Wintermann; they
preceded him in death
Also preceded in death by brothers
George, Fred “Edwin”, Henry, Robert Wintermann, sisters Verena
Wintermann, Caroline Walthes, brother-in-law Allan Walthes and a
sister-in-law Wavian Wintermann
He married Mary Jane Liening October
16, 1956 at St. Anthony Church in Beckemeyer and she survives in
Little Prairie
Also Survivng are his children Glen
(Melissa) Wintermann of Little Prairie, Gary Wintermann of Little
Prairie, Sandy (Brian) Billhartz of New Baden
4 grandchildren Ben Adams, Nick
Buchholz, Glen Wintermann II, Brittany Billhartz
Sister-in-law Mayola Wintermann of
Xenia
Many nieces and nephews
Maurice retired from Carlyle Health
Care Center in 1990 where he worked in maintenance. He was also a
bailiff at the Clinton County Court House. Maurice enjoyed his
family, gardening, woodcraft and electrical work

Church in Beckemeyer, Knights of Columbus Council 2869 in Breese
Funeral Mass of Christian burial
will be Tuesday November 17, at 11:00 am at St. Anthony Church in
Beckemeyer with Fr. Chuck Tuttle and Deacon Bob Lippert officiating
Interment St. Anthony Cemetery
Visitation will be held on Monday
November 16 from 4 to 8 PM and Tuesday November 17 from 9 to 10:30
am at the Moss Funeral Home
in Breese
Memorials can be to Donor’s Choice
and will be received at the funeral home
Knights of Columbus members will
pray the rosary at 7:00 PM Monday at the funeral home |
