Cindy G. Korte, age 67, of Germantown, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2026, at Aviston Countryside Manor. She was born April 25, 1959, in Breese, a daughter of the late Urban “Shorty” and Dorothy (nee Billhartz) Behrman.

Cindy married Michael B. Korte on November 4, 1983, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Albers and he survives in Germantown. Cindy was preceded in death by her parents; nephew, Justin Brandmeyer; great-nephew, Grayson Timmermann; parents-in-law, Vincent and Lucille (nee Hemann) Korte; and brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Richard Korte, Patricia Pingsterhaus, Marcel Korte, and Wayne Hewlett.

Cindy retired from Catholic Fraternal Life in 2023 after many dedicated years working in Administration. She was a faithful member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown, the Germantown American Legion Auxiliary Unit 325, CFL Council in Germantown, and the Cornerstone Women’s Pool League.

Cindy had a gift for enjoying life’s simple pleasures. She loved gathering around a table for cards, euchre, rummy, or bingo, where laughter and friendly competition were always guaranteed. She found peace outdoors whether it was camping, taking side-by-side rides, or watching for cardinals, which always held a special meaning for her. Above all else, Cindy treasured her family.
