    David R. Huelsmann 75 of Rural Breese died Thursday May 10, 2012 at his home with his wife and family by his side.

    He was born April 12, 1937 in Aviston to Cyril and Anna (Heiman) Huelsmann: they preceded him in death.

    Also preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law Bill and Clara (Rehkemper) Wilke, a sister-in-law Emma Huelsmann.

    He married Florence Wilke July 26, 1960 at St. Rose Church and she survives in rural Breese.

    Also surviving are his sons Gary (Christine) Huelsmann of Alton, Allan (Carol) Huelsmann of Aviston.

    4 grandchildren Mariah and Chloe, Galen and Anna Huelsmann. A step grandchild Amber (AJ) Samz.

    Brother James Huelsmann of Aviston, Herman (Mary) Huelsmann of Aviston, Arnold (Judy) Huelsmann of Trenton, John (Nancy) Huelsmann of Aviston.

    Sisters Irene (Pete) Schumacher of Trenton, Lorraine (Don) Boeser of Aviston, Sr. Rose Huelsmann SSND of St. Louis, MO.

    Brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Felix (Betty) Wilke of St. Rose, Jim Wilke of St. Rose, Rosemary (Roland) Kampwerth of Carlyle, Ruth (Jerry) Endres of Breese, Bill and (Carol) Wilke of Pueblo, CO.

    David retired from Scott Air Force Base as a Budget Analyst. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, his country home where he was an avid gardener and card player.

    Member of St. Felicitas Church, Beaver Prairie, lifetime member of Trenton Knights of Columbus Council 2932.

    Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be Monday May 14 at 10:00 AM at St. Felicitas Church in Beaver Prairie with Fr. Mark McKenzie and Fr. Larry Nickels officiating. Interment St. Felicitas Cemetery.

    Visitation will be held on Sunday May 13 from 3 to 7 PM and Monday May 14 from 8 to 9:30 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese.

    Memorials can be made to St. Felicitas Cemetery Fund, Christian Social Services of Southern IL, School Sisters of Norte Dame and will be received at the funeral home.

    Trenton Knights of Columbus will hold services on Sunday at 6:45 PM at the funeral home.
