Dorothy E. Weber, age 96, of Bartelso, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at Cedarhurst of Breese. She was born February 3, 1930, in Bartelso, a daughter of the late Joseph and Otillia (nee Hollenkamp) Becker.

Dorothy married Roman Weber on August 10, 1948, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Bartelso. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and hard work. Roman preceded her in death on January 23, 2000.

In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Nancy Weber; siblings, Adele (Alphonse) Rensing, Roman (Alvina) Becker, Emma (Don) McKee, Alfred (Helen) Becker, and Herb Becker; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Roy (Irene) Weber, Joe Wuebbles, Robert (Virginia) Weber, Norman Weber, and Lucy Ann Weber.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Gary (friend, Kathy Winter) Weber of Bartelso and Jeannie (friend, Dale Huegen) Weber of Breese; grandchildren, Jeff (Aggie) Becker, Jamie Weber, Angie (Adam Tebbe) Weber, and Troy (Myranda) Weber; great-grandchildren, Roman, Isaiah, and Daniel Becker, Romayne and Aria Tebbe, and Carson, Landry, and Kash Weber; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, JoAnn Becker of Belleville, Lorraine Wuebbles of Mascoutah, Charlie (Sandi) Weber of Mascoutah, Vernon (Marilyn) Weber of St. Libory, and Richard Weber of St. Libory; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was a dedicated partner in her family's business as co-owner of Weber Bulk Feed Transport. She was never afraid of hard work, driving trucks, helping with farming operations, and working side by side with her husband in every aspect of the business. Her strong work ethic and determination were admired by all who knew her.

A faithful member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Dorothy was active in the parish Altar Sodality and was also a member of the Bartelso American Legion Auxiliary.

Dorothy enjoyed a life filled with family, friends, and activities she loved. She was an avid bowler and proudly participated with the Weber Trucking Bowling Team at Bartelso Bowl for more than 60 years. She also enjoyed playing cards, bingo, and dancing. For 21 years, she treasured spending time at her home at Lake of the Ozarks, creating many cherished memories with family and friends.

Above all else, Dorothy's greatest joy was her family. She loved gathering with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and she treasured every moment spent together.
