Gina G. Miranda, age 61, of Highland, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital in Breese. She was born August 24,1964, in Bonne Terre, MO. Gina graduated from Flat River High School, now Park Hills High School in Park Hills, Missouri, in 1982. She is the daughter of the late Harvey and Georgia (nee Means) Caldwell.

In addition to her parents, Gina was preceded in death by her sisters, Rebecca Wills and Lisa Caldwell.

Gina is survived by her daughters, Adrienne Harris of Farmington, MO, Cheyenne Miranda of New Orleans, LA, Mariah (Craig) Johns of Damiansville, Raven Miranda and Sierra Miranda of Las Vegas, NV; grandson, Revan Johns; sister, Angela Pyatt of Farmington, MO; nieces, Sara Bellew, Amy Wills, and Rachel Pyatt; nephews, Garrett Pyatt, Gage Pyatt, and Greg Caldwell.

Gina lived a life devoted to love and motherhood. As the matriarch of her family, she had a gift for making everyone feel safe and loved. Her warmth and creativity made her house a home, a cozy landing for family, friends, and neighbors. Gina was a problem solver and leader. She carried family and friends through small worries or devastating heartbreaks. She could fix anything with a late-night talk and pan of brownies. She was the valued opinion and sought source for advice. You could always count on Gina.

Her daughters were her biggest joy. She was coach, #1 fan, stylist and momager in every stage of life. She never missed a recital, track meet, or game. A special part of her shined through in each of them. Her love grew even more when her grandson, Opie came into her life. The sun would rise and set with him. The countless memories of playtime, songs, snacks, and surprises will forever live in his heart. She will always be his first best friend.

At her core, Gina was fearless. When she spoke her mind, everyone listened. You could not ignore her presence and passion. Her warmth, tenacious spirit, creativity, beauty, intelligence, and deep love for her family will be remembered by all who knew her.
