Loretta M. Holubek 90 of Trenton died Sunday June 29, 2014 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese.

She was born June 27, 1924 in Trenton to Frank and Mary (Baer) Haas Sr. They preceded her in death.

Also preceded in death by a daughter-in-law Catherine Holubek, brothers Frank Haas Jr., Arthur Haas, William Haas, John Haas, sisters Margaret Woehr, Virginia Haas, Floridina Kern.

She was the wife of Richard I. Holubek for 72 years whom she married April 30, 1942 in St. Charles, MO and he survives in Trenton.

Also surviving are her children Richard G. Holubek of Valley Springs, CA, Carol Johnson of Fairview Heights, Joan Strobel of Okawville, Michael Holubek of Salt Lake City Utah, William (Cindy) Holubek of Pueblo, CO

7 grandchildren Carol Holubek, Timothy Johnson, Nathan (Wendy Shaw) Johnson, Stephen (Nacole) Strobel, Becky Holubek, Paul Holubek, William (Tiffany) Holubek Jr.

9 great grandchildren

Loretta was a homemaker and was an avid gardener loving her roses, she enjoyed playing bingo and bunco.

Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be Thursday July 3, 2014 at 10:00 am at St. Mary Catholic Church in Trenton with Fr. Joseph Rascher officiating. Interment Jefferson Barrack National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO

Visitation will be held on Wednesday July 2 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Thursday July 3 from 8:00 to 9:45 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton.

Trenton VFW Auxiliary will hold services Wednesday at 7:30 PM at the funeral home.

Memorials can be made to St. Mary Church and will be received at the funeral home.
