Paul M. Russell

Paul M. Russell, age 74, of Caseyville, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024 at Caseyville Nursing & Rehab.  He was born November 17, 1949 in Alabama, a son of the late Layton M. and Cora Russell.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his wife of 31 years, Patricia Russell, nee Cruz; brothers, Glen Russell and Randy Russell; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Shirley, nee Kaemmerer, and Ray Chesney, Jr.; and sister-in-law, Sandra (David) Jenkins.

Paul is survived by his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Trina (Terry) Rea, Raymond (Kris) Chesney, and Lisa (Dwayne Rives) Chesney, all of Caseyville; and nieces and nephews.

Paul worked as a mechanic at Belleville-St. Louis Coach Company and he loved spending time with his family.

Per Paul’s wishes, his remains are to be cremated and buried with his wife Patricia at Holy Cross Cemetery in Fairview Heights.

Memorials may be made to the charity of donor’s choice and will be received by mail, Moss Funeral Home, 535 N. 5th St. Breese, IL 62230, who is serving the family.
