Wanda L. Haynes, age 60, of Trenton, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville. She was born September 2, 1965, in East St. Louis, a daughter of Donna (nee Draper) Hensley of Trenton and the late Kennard Hensley.

In addition to her father, Wanda was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Katherine Haynes-Cameron.

Wanda is survived by her mother, Donna Hensley of Trenton; her daughters, Megan Schulte of Trenton and Brook (friend, Avery Rudolphi) Cristel of Mascoutah; son-in-law, Kyle Cameron of New Baden; grandchildren, Elizabeth Schulte, Anthony Willis, Jeremiah Willis, Adriana Shackleford, Damion Westermann, Quinton McGeathy, Bentley Cameron, Logan Cameron, and Colton Cameron; brothers, Craig Hensley of Highland, Paul (Joy) Hensley of Elgin, South Carolina, and William (Mary) Hensley of Mascoutah; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends.

Wanda's greatest joy in life was her family. She lovingly helped raise many of her grandchildren and cherished every moment she spent with them. Whether it was sharing stories, making memories, or simply enjoying time together, her grandchildren were the light of her life. She also treasured the close bond she shared with her mother and loved spending time with her daughters, creating memories that her family will hold close forever.

Wanda found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She loved being outdoors, soaking up the sunshine while working in the yard or spending relaxing days at the lake with her family. She enjoyed crocheting, keeping up with friends on Facebook, and was an enthusiastic Pokémon GO player who was always ready for her next adventure.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Grace Community Baptist Church in Trenton. A funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Bob Marsh officiating.

In lieu of flowers, plants, or other gifts, memorials may be made to the Wishes of the Family (checks payable to Brook Cristel) and will be received at the church or by mail at Moss Funeral Home, 105 S. Main St., Trenton, IL 62293, who is serving the family.
