Jacob J. “Jake” Arter 18 of Breese died Sunday April 23, 2017 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese.

He was born March18, 1999 in Breese to James “Jim” and Suzanne (Lindley) Arter: they survive in Breese.

Also surviving is his sister Brittany Arter of Breese

Grandparents Dale and Sharon (nee Stewart) Lindley of Pocahontas, Barbara (nee Fechtler) Arter of Breese.

Aunts and uncles April Paul, David (Shawna) Lindley, Jan (Mike) Koonce, Cindy Mollett, Jason (Monica) Arter, Jeff (Andrea) Arter, Josh Arter.

Numerous cousins and friends.

Preceded in death by his grandfather James B. Arter, uncles Terry Paul, Lester Mollett

Jake was a senior at Central High School and on the football team for all four years. He worked part time at PJ’s Restaurant in Breese

He enjoyed hanging out with the guys playing basketball and video games.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Moss Funeral Home in Breese. Pastor Ronald Lindley and Brother Paul Hall presiding. Interment Ellwood Cemetery, Breese.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 26 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm and Thursday, April 27 from 8:30 am. to 10:00 a.m. at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese.

Memorials can be made to his family and will be received at the funeral home.
