Kathleen V. Seaton, nee Dermody, 93, of Trenton, died Friday November 6, 2015 at Faith Care Center in Highland.

She was born November 13, 1921 in Lebanon to Charles and Cleta (Huster) Dermody; they preceded her in death.

She married Delbert Seaton on June 19, 1941 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Trenton; he preceded her in death March 31, 1984.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Caesar Garavaglia; brother, Charles Dermody; sister, Bernice Schiff; brothers-in-law, Alvin Schiff and Louis Jacober; and a sister-in-law, Ruth Dermody.

Surviving are her children Delbert “Del” (Rosemary) Seaton of St. Louis, MO and Kathy Garavaglia of Fenton, MO

3 grandchildren, Scott (Karen) Seaton, Sheri (Mark) Stevenson, and Michael (Amanda) Garavaglia.

5 great-grandchildren, Kate, Jack, Jake, Sophia, and Mia.

A sister, Mary Jacober of Highland.

Kathleen was a homemaker and member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Trenton. She enjoyed reading, playing bingo, and being a gambling grandma.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, November 9, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Trenton with Fr. Joseph Rascher officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 8, 2015 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and Monday, November 9, 2015 from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton.

Memorials can be made to a food pantry of the donor’s choice and will be received at the funeral home.
