    Patricia L. “Patty” Peterson, age 57, of Trenton, died Friday, June 22, 2018 at Evelyn’s House in Creve Coeur, MO.

     

    Mrs. Peterson was born December 30, 1960, a daughter of the late J. Michael and Joyce E., nee Luke, Bane.  She married Jim Peterson June 25, 1983 in Elkhart, IN.

     

    In addition to her husband, Mrs. Peterson is survived by her children, Jaime (Tim) Ranz of New Baden, Michael (Rose Betts) Peterson of Peoria, and Maggie Peterson of Trenton; grandchildren, Ella, Sydney, and Sawyer Ranz; brother, Mike (Jodi) Bane of South Bend, IN, and his children, Dylan, Ryan, and Patrick Bane; father-in-law, Bob “Pete” (Martha) Peterson of San Antonio, TX; sister-in-law, Brenda (Jim) Shank of Elkhart, IN, and her children, Jeremy, Joshua, and Peter O’Brien; and brother-in-law, Bob Peterson of Elkhart, IN.  She was excited about the upcoming birth of her fourth grandchild.

     

    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her mother-in-law, Wanda, nee Zipser, Peterson.

     

    Mrs. Peterson served as the substitute coordinator and the sponsor of the LifeSavers organization at Wesclin High School and loved the students with whom she worked each day.  She attended Skyline Church in O’Fallon; and enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, completing crossword puzzles, and playing tennis and board games.

     

    Visitation will be Tuesday, June 26, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, June 27, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Moss Funeral Home in Trenton.

     

    Memorial Service will be Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Moss Funeral Home in Trenton with Pastor Lance Johnson presiding.  Interment will follow in Trenton Cemetery in Trenton.

     

    In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) and will be received at the funeral home.
