      Agnes A. “Pat” Wiegmann-Wise, age 84, of Breese, passed away Monday, August 19, 2024, at HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital in Breese.  She was born August 20, 1939, in Pierron, a daughter of the late Anton and Louise (nee Ottensmeier) Thole.

       

      In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her husband Edmund Wiegmann, whom she married August 24, 1960 and who died September 6, 1964; siblings, Andy (Bertha) Thole, Alvis Thole, Rose (Chester) Litteken, Walter Thole, Theodore “Teets” (Clara Mae) Thole, Delores (Joe) Litteken, Teresa (Norman) Kollmann, and Anthony “Butch” (Lynn) Thole; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ben and Margaret (nee Kalmer) Wiegmann; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Anton “Tony” (Mary Louise) Baumann, Robert Wiegmann, Valeria (Wilbert) Korte, Verena (William) Schrage, and Herbert Wiegmann.

       

      Pat is survived by her children, Rick (Kim) Wiegmann, Diane (Mike) Meyer, Darren (Beth) Wise, Dean (Lisa) Wise, and Lori (Joe) Diesen; grandchildren, Kelly (special friend Brandon) Wiegmann, Olivia (Tim) Hodges, Carrie (Tommy) Bach, Nikki (Eric) Hull, Ally (Nathan) Croner, Carlee Wise, Ryan Toennies, Mitchell (special friend Sadie) Wise, Ellyn (special friend Logan) Wise, Baileigh Diesen, and Kolten Diesen; great-grandchildren, Kallen, Kash, and Koby Bach, Theodore and Elyas Hodges, Kade and soon to be Baby Boy Hull, and Raelynn and Glennon Toennies; sisters, Helen (Bernard) Wiegmann and Cecelia (Roger) Wellen; sisters-in-law, Irene Thole, Joan Wiegmann and Cecelia Wiegmann; and nieces nephews and their descendants.

       

      She was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese.

       

      Pat was a homemaker and seamstress. She specialized in patchwork, quilting, and stitching.

       

      Memorial visitation will be Friday, August 23, 2024, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Moss Funeral Home in Breese. A private burial will take place later at Resurrection Cemetery in New Baden.

       

      In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, memorials may be made to HSHS Hospice and will be received at the visitation or by mail, Moss Funeral Home, 535 N. 5th St. Breese, IL 62230, who is serving the family.
