Joseph J. Haas 95 of Trenton died Friday June 21, 2013 at Aviston Countryside Manor.

He was born March 17, 1918 in Trenton to Jacob and Josephine (Bellm) Haas: they preceded him in death.

Also preceded in death by brothers Richard Haas, Cletus Haas, brother-in-law Paul Jacober, nieces Bonnie Haas, Brenda Haas.

Surviving is a sister Lorna Jacober of Collinsville

A sister-in-law Mary Haas of Trenton

Nieces and nephews Mary (Raymond) Hoelting, Steve Jacober, Dave (Sandy) Jacober, SR. Kathy Haas P.H.J.C., Kenny Haas, Kevin (Teresa) Haas, Larry (Rose) Haas, Peggy (Brian) Boeser

Joe retired from G.T.E. in Highland as a lineman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and his many hunting trips to Canada.

Member of St. Mary Catholic Church and Men’s Sodality, Knights of Columbus Council #2932 in Trenton, Highland Rifle and Pistol Club

Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be Tuesday June 25 at 10:00 am at St. Mary Catholic Church in Trenton with Fr. Joseph Rascher officiating. Interment St. Mary Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday June 24 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Tuesday June 25 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton

Knights of Columbus will hold services at 7:30 PM Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials can be made to St. Mary Church or Parkinson’s Research and will be received at the funeral home.
