Clara Maue 94 of Breese died Thursday July 18, 2013 at Carlyle Health Care Center in Carlyle.

She was born August 22, 1918 in Little Prairie to Bernard and Wilhelmina (Nordmann) Busselmann: they preceded her in death.

She married Edward “Eppie” Maue November 23, 1938 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Beckemeyer and he preceded her in death February 24, 1995.

Also preceded in death by a son Dennis Maue, a grandson Nathan Maue, a brother Raymond Busselmann, son-in-law Roger Bryson, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Alvin Maue, Arthur Maue Leona and George Dierkes, Clarence “Bud” and Marie Maue, Dick Brand, Leland Johnson.

Surviving are her children Marilyn Bryson of Royal Oak, MI, Kathleen (Robert) Kane of Salem, Michael Maue of Arnold, MO

6 grandchildren Susan (Jarrod) Holle, Michael (Kim) Bryson, Thomas Kane, Angela Finnerty, Shane (Faye) Maue, Aaron (Janell) Maue.

12 great grandchildren

Sisters-in-law Helen Brand of St. Louis, MO, Dorothy Johnson of Breese, Leona Maue of St. Louis, MO.

Clara worked as a bookkeeper, and was an associate with Wal Mart in Carlyle.

Member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and Altar Sodality in Breese, and Daughters of Isabella Precious Blood Circle 718.

Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be Tuesday July 23, 2013 at 10:00 am at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Breese with F. Chuck Tuttle officiating. Interment St. Dominic-St. Augustine Cemetery, Breese.

Visitation will be held on Monday July 22 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Tuesday from 8:00 to 9:45 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese.

Memorials can be made to St. Augustine Church and will be received through the funeral home.
