Nicholas W. Maden

Nicholas Wade Maden, 31 of Beardstown and formerly of Breese, died Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at his home.

He was born July 13, 1982 in Oscoda, MI the son of Dudley and Stephanie (Spragg) Maden.

Surviving are his children Carybeth, Kayellen, and Cole Maden; his parents Dudley and Stephanie Maden of Breese; one sister Michelle (husband Ryan) Nation of Alton; and his grandmother Evelyn Spragg of England.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Lawrence Maden and June Havlin, and his maternal grandfather Herbert Spragg.

Nicholas attended Central High School in Breese. He served in the United States Air Force for eight years during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He most recently worked for BNSF Railroad in Beardstown. Nicholas was a member of Sons of the American Legion and American Legion Post #252 in Breese. He loved fishing and watching the St. Louis Cardinals.

Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Moss Funeral Home in Breese. The family will meet with friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
