Paul B. Schulte, 60, of Cahokia and formerly of Aviston, died Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Belleville.

Mr. Schulte was born February 11, 1953 in Breese to Arthur and Therese (Wesselmann) Schulte; they preceded him in death.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Schulte.

Surviving are his siblings, Rita (Allen) Strubhart of Aviston, Arthur J. (Diane) Schulte, Jr. of Caseyville, Henrietta Schulte of Germantown, Margie (Roger) Albers of Germantown, and Mary Ann (Mark) Thole of Carlyle; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Paul worked as a farmhand for Middeke Chicken Farm in St. Rose and formerly worked at Arrow Group Industries in Breese.

He was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church in Aviston.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 10:00 am at St. Francis Catholic Church in Aviston with Fr. Daniel Friedman officiating. Interment will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Aviston.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 24, 2013 from 8:00-9:45 am at St. Francis Catholic Church in Aviston.

Memorials can be made to the family and will be received at the church or through Moss Funeral Home in Breese who is in charge of the arrangements.
