Cynthia Ann “Cindy” Brainard, 56, of Germantown, died Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at her home.
Cindy was born October 22, 1957 in Tucson, AZ to Cecil and Sally (Bradley) Coomer; they preceded her in death.
She married Murry Brainard in 1978, and he preceded her in death in 1998.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by brothers, John Bradly Lee, Richard J. Lee, and Darryl Coomer.
Surviving are her children, John Brainard and Michelle (Robert) Peterson all of Prescott, AZ; a brother, Leslie (Robin) Coomer of Cassville, MO; and a sister, Reatha (Philip) Haake of Germantown.
Cindy formerly worked as a cook at Monroe County Nursing Home in Waterloo.
According to her wishes, she was cremated and there will be no services.
Memorials can be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be received through Moss Funeral Home in Germantown who is in charge of the arrangements.
