Cletus E. “Clete” Sensel 77 Summerfield died Monday June 9, 2014 at his residence.
He was born June 22, 1936 in Lebanon to Elmer and Vera (Kraus) Sensel; they preceded him in death.
He married Pearl Hencke October 3, 1953 at St. Paul Catholic Church in Highland and she preceded him in death June 11, 2003.
Also preceded in death by a brother-in-law Vernon Hencke
Surviving are his children Ron (Karen) Sensel of Fredericktown, MO, Sharon (Rick) Kloos of Trenton
5 grandchildren, Stacy (Brad) Jackson, Kyle (Melissa) Sensel, Shandra (Ryan) Seger, Georgina (Matt) Weidner, Michael (Janelle) Kloos
7 great grandchildren, Lilly & Garrett Jackson, Cole & Dane Sensel, Chloe & Lea Seger, Cody Weidner
A sister Vivian (Louis) Meier of Maryville

Clete retired from being a sub contracted drvier for Anheuser Busch Company in St. Louis, and currently farming. He enjoyed auto racing, fishing, playing cards and traveling in his RV
Member of St. John United Church of Christ in Summerfield, Summerfield Lions Club, Former officer with Teamsters Local 600, and Machinist District 9 in St. Louis. He was the founder of Southwestern Auto Racing Association in Highland.
Funeral Services will be Friday June 13, 2014 at 10:00 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton. Rev. Gary Kniepkamp officiating. Interment Summerfield Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday June 12 from 4 to 8 PM and Friday from 9 am to time of service at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton.
Memorials can be made to Leaps of Love, St. John United Church of Christ, or the American Heart Association and will be received at the funeral home.
