Constance M. “Connie” Ganz 65 of Germantown died Friday July 24, 2015 at Countryside Manor in Aviston.

She was born December 7, 1949 in E. St. Louis to Norbert and Dorothy (Lickenbrock) Friederich and they preceded her in death.

Also preceded in death by twin brothers in infancy Floyd and Lloyd Friederich, father-in-law and mother-in-law Jerome “Jack” and Helen (Hund) Ganz, nephew and godchild Michael Friederich.

She married Jerome “Jerry” Ganz November 11, 1972 at Holy Childhood Catholic Church in Mascoutah and he survives.

Also surviving are her children Brian (Shelly) Ganz of Arenzville, Robert (friend Shelly White) Ganz of Germantown, Becky Ganz of Jacksonville

4 grandchildren Bailey, Madelynn, Ava, Owen Ganz

Connie retired from the Damiansville School District where she taught for 35 years, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family also quilting and had hobby of painting.

Member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown, Clinton County Homemakers Extension.

Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be Monday July 27, 2015 at 10:00 am at St. Damian Catholic Church in Damiansville.Fr. James Buerster, Deacon Glen Netemeyer, Deacon Rich Bagby officiating. Interment at St Damian Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday July 26 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Monday July 27 from 8:00 to 9:30 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Germantown.

Memorials can be made to Isaac’s Ray of Hope and will be received through Moss Funeral Home.
