Marcella A. Ortmann (Nee Peek) 91 of Germantown died Tuesday September 29, 2015 at Countryside Manor in Aviston.
She was born June 14, 1924 in Aviston to Bernard and Katherine (Wellen) Peek: they preceded her in death.
She married Vincent Ortmann September 3, 1947 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Aviston and he preceded her in death June 19, 2004.
Also preceded in death by a son Ralph Ortmann, brothers Paul Peek, Victor Peek, sisters Adele Delong, Ruth Siminoff, brothers-in-law Bill Delong, Danny Siminoff, Victor Strake, Arnold Ratermann
Surviving are her children Mary (Delmar) Santel of Damiansville, Eileen (John) Ratermann of Breese, David (Sharon) Ortmann of Germantown
5 grandchildren Kyle (Donna) Santel, Karrie (Mark) Rakers, Stephanie (Brent) Goetz, Vicki (friend Danny Griffiths) Ratermann- Gearhart, Patrick Reagan

Marcella Ortmann was a homemaker, and the last Gold Star Mother from Germantown
Member of St, Boniface Catholic Church and Ladies Sodality in Germantown, American Legion Auxiliary Post 325 in Germantown.
Mass of Christian burial will be Friday October 2, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown. Fr. James Buerster and Deacon Rich Bagby officiating. Interment St. Boniface Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday October 1 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Friday October 2 from 8:00 to 9:45 a.m. at the Moss Funeral Home in Germantown.
Germantown American Legion Auxiliary Services will be held on Thursday during the visitation at 7:00 P.M. followed by Clinton County Chapter of the Vietnam Veterans at the funeral home
Memorials can be made to St. Boniface Cemetery or Germantown American Legion Auxiliary and will be received at the funeral home.
