Keith M. O'Malley, age 78 of Trenton, passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Faith Care Center in Highland.

 

Keith was born April 15, 1937 in Fillmore to Aloysius "Loy" and Thelma, nee Ernst, O'Malley.  He worked for the State of Illinois Department of Transportation for 32 years, retiring in 1991.

 

Surviving are nieces, Laura Hill of Haslet, TX and Dianne Burris of Centralia; nephews, Robert Hill of Arlington, TX, Timothy Hill of Corsica, TX, Ronald Hill of Bullard, TX, Thomas Hill of Irving, TX, and David Cook of Shawnee Mission, KS; a brother-in-law, Chester Cook of Centralia; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Mary, Mildred, and Donelda.

 

Keith was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Trenton.

 

Funeral Services will be Thursday, December 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Trenton with Pastor Mike Rucker officiating.  Interment will follow in Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville.

 

Visitation will be Thursday, December 3, 2015 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Trenton.

 

Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church or to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be received at the church or through Moss Funeral Home in Trenton who is in charge of the arrangements.
