Aggie Parent

Aggie Parent, age 75 of Summerfield and formerly of Aviston, born January 26, 1941 in Weymouth, MA, died Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Belleville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Mary, nee Lager, Stroot; a son-in-law, Jack Brooks; and her former husband, Lenny Parent.

Surviving are her children, Tina (Rick) Korte of Summerfield, Tim (Jennifer Grayling) Parent, Tony (Sue Grimes) Parent, and Tammi Parent all of Beckemeyer; grandchildren, Melinda and Ashley Raimo, Kris (Janelle) Korte, Courtney and Madalyn Rickhoff, Jacob and Zachary Parent, Ami Parent, Alixandria Rakers, Seth Brown, and Izaiah Frederick; 12 great-grandchildren; siblings, Ted Marston of Highland, Maureen Marston and Marie Stacey, both of Boston, MA

Aggie was a homemaker and enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals and spending time with her family.

Memorial Mass will be Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Francis Church in Aviston with Fr. Daniel Friedman and Deacon Charles Litteken officiating.

Memorials may be made to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation and will be received through Moss Funeral Home, 535 N. 5th, Breese, IL 62230 who is in charge of the arrangements.
