Patricia L. Dorries, age 63 of Breese, entered into rest Monday, June 13, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her family. Pat was born February 5, 1953 in Breese, the daughter of Patricia L. (Glaub) and Lloyd Zuelow. On February 23, 1973, she married Glenn Dorries at St. John’s United Church of Christ in Breese.

Pat worked as a beautician for a time and later was a homemaker, raising her daughters and helping her husband run Dorries Excavating. While she was able, Pat enjoyed riding motorcycles, camping and bowling on various leagues in Breese. She also organized the child care program for St. John’s UCC for a number of years. She enjoyed having fun with family and friends and will always be remembered for her beautiful smile.

She is survived by her husband, Glenn Dorries and her mother, Patricia Zuelow, both of Breese; three daughters, Amy L. (Wayne) Kruse of Breese, Amanda (Kyle) Santel of Albers and Kari Dorries of Aviston; 10 grandchildren, Jordan Spangenberg, Manon L. and Lauren Kruse, Alyssa, Madelyn, Alayna, Lexy, Jayce, Koltyn and Josey Santel; sisters-in-law and brothers-in law, Earlene (special friend Jas) Arnold, Darlene Ritter, Shirl (Dan) Kaegy, and Charmaine (special friend Gene Albers) Kleiboecker; and aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Zuelow; mother-in-law and father-in law, Evelyn (Hellmann) and Earl Dorries; and brothers-in law, Dave Arnold and Paul Ritter.

A Memorial Visitation will be Thursday, June 16, 2016 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese.

A private graveside service will take place at a later date.

Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice, St. John’s United Church of Christ in Breese or the Central Cougar football program and will be accepted at the funeral home.
