Stephen A. Ratermann, age 62 of Breese, born November 2, 1954 in Breese, a son of the late Raymond and Leona, nee Kapp, Ratermann, died Sunday, November 20, 2016 at SSM St. Mary’s Hospital in Clayton, MO.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Andrew Ratermann.
Surviving are his siblings, Marcellus (Milly) Ratermann of San Marcos, CA, Alfred (Virginia) Ratermann of Breese, Elaine (Gene) Brammeier of Nashville, Cletus (Deb) Ratermann of Breese, Matthew (Karen) Ratermann of Aviston, and Betty (Bill) Sligar of Centralia; a sister-in-law, Barbara Ratermann of Germantown; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Stephen was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese and retired as an IT Specialist at Scott Air Force Base.
Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese with Fr. Patrick Peter and Deacon Linus Klostermann presiding. Interment will follow in St. Dominic/St. Augustine Cemetery in Breese.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 26, 2016 from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, American Lung Association, or to the donor’s choice and will be received at the church or through Moss Funeral Home in Breese who is serving the family.
