Greg R. Schutz, age 39 of Trenton, born January 13, 1977 in St. Cloud, MN, a son of Donald and Gloria, nee Bricker, Schutz of Breese, died Friday, December 16, 2016 at his residence.
In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his son, Ethan Schutz of Breese; siblings, Patricia (Mike) Spihlman of Valparaiso, IN, Cynthia (Brian) Reed of Pass Christian, MS, Jeffrey (Shannon) Schutz of Waveland, MS, and Paula Schutz of Cold Spring, MN; maternal grandmother, Norma, nee Adam, Bricker of Trenton; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his former wife April Foster of St. Louis.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Freddy Bricker; and paternal grandparents, John and Julia, nee Ehresmann, Schutz.
Greg worked as a high-rise window washer and enjoyed fishing and repelling.
Memorial Mass will be Friday, December 23, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis Catholic Church in Aviston with Fr. Daniel Friedman presiding. Inurnment will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Aviston.
Visitation will be Friday, December 23, 2016 from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at St. Francis Catholic Church in Aviston.
Memorials may be made to his son Ethan’s Education fund (checks can be made to Donald Schutz) and will be received at the church or through Moss Funeral Home, 535 N. 5th, Breese, IL 62230 who is serving the Schultz family.
